What are POE Oils?
POE oils are a family of synthetic lubricants. Unlike natural mineral oils, POE oils are completely wax-free and are the best choice of lubricants for use with the new generation of chlorine-free HFC refrigerants, such as R410A. This is because they provide excellent lubrication, offer better thermal stability, and are more miscible in HFC refrigerants than mineral oils. POE oils are also highly biodegradable.
Another positive aspect of POE oils is that they can be designed to meet lubricity requirements equivalent to those of mineral oils used with chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), and their miscibility with refrigerants can be matched easily to that of mineral oil in R-12, R-502, or R-22. Thus, POE oils should have all the oil-return characteristics like mineral oils with traditional chlorine-containing refrigerants.

Synthetic Polyolester Oil (POE) Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Compressor Oils have been specifically formulated for use with HFC refrigerants.
The oil has excellent low temperature properties and is combined with a high viscosity index which makes it ideal for use over a broad range of temperatures.
A unique formulation of premium quality synthetic polyolesters and carefully selected additives extends product life and provides effective protection against wear.
Both the cap and bottle are fully recyclable.
In order to reach the deep vacuum that you require, a vacuum pump needs clean, moisture-free oil during evacuation.
Dirty oil becomes a mixture of corrosive acids and water that effects the pump’s ability to pull a deep vacuum.
Left sitting in the pump this sludge will rust and erode internal surfaces which can shorten the pump’s life.
It is strongly recommended that the vacuum pump oil is changed after every vacuum pump use.
Both the cap and bottle are fully recyclable.
